The Camp

Zarafa Camp's design seamlessly merges luxury with the natural surroundings, featuring four expansive and beautifully appointed tents. The camp exudes a classic safari charm, with décor inspired by early 19th-century explorers, offering a warm and inviting ambiance. Handcrafted furniture, vintage trunks, and copper accents create an elegant atmosphere, while the spacious design allows guests to fully appreciate the breathtaking views of the lagoon and surrounding bush.

The camp's main area includes a comfortable lounge, dining area, and a large deck where guests can gather to enjoy meals or relax while taking in the scenery. A fire pit offers a cozy spot for evening storytelling under the African night sky.

Accommodation

Zarafa Camp's four luxury tents are among the most spacious in Africa, each covering over 100 square meters. These canvas suites are raised on wooden platforms and offer panoramic views of the lagoon and the wildlife that frequents its shores. Each tent features:

• A large bedroom with a four-poster bed draped in mosquito netting

• An en-suite bathroom with a freestanding copper bathtub, double vanity, and both indoor and outdoor showers

• A private lounge area, complete with a stocked minibar and personal coffee station

• A large wooden deck with a private plunge pool, where guests can relax and enjoy the surrounding wilderness in complete privacy

The tents are designed for maximum comfort, with fans, solar-powered lighting, and attention to detail that ensures guests are immersed in both luxury and nature.
