The Camp

Migration Camp is designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, creating a sense of harmony with nature while maintaining the highest standards of comfort. The camp’s design is contemporary yet rustic, with natural materials such as wood and stone complementing the earthy tones of the landscape. Elevated wooden walkways connect the main areas to the guest tents, all offering breathtaking views of the Serengeti plains and the Grumeti River.

The central lounge and dining area exude a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where guests can relax after a day of safari activities. An outdoor deck with a fire pit provides a perfect spot to enjoy the stunning sunsets and share stories of the day’s adventures.

Accommodation

Migration Camp features 20 spacious and luxurious tents, all raised on wooden platforms with private verandas that offer panoramic views of the Serengeti. Each tent is tastefully decorated, featuring hardwood floors, large four-poster beds draped in mosquito nets, and cozy seating areas. The en-suite bathrooms come equipped with hot showers, double vanities, and flush toilets, ensuring all the modern comforts in the heart of the wilderness.

The tents are designed to provide an authentic safari feel while still offering luxurious touches, creating a perfect balance between nature and indulgence. Guests can fall asleep to the sounds of the Serengeti, from the distant roar of lions to the rustling of animals along the riverbanks.

Dining at Migration Camp is a gourmet experience, with meals served in the open-air dining area or under the stars for an unforgettable al fresco experience. The Great Migration Migration Camp’s prime location near the Grumeti River makes it one of the best places to witness the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles.
